Ficus carica 'LMF01' (LITTLE MISS FIGGY) has emphatically lobed, dark green leaves and short internodes. In spring and fall, the plant produces large quantities of, sweet, burgundy figs. It prefers dry, light soil to heavy, wet soil and can be planted in full sun or partial shade. LITTLE MISS FIGGY is the perfect plant for the edible garden, for both the smaller and larger garden and for in a pot on balcony or terrace. Hardy to -15 ºC. This plant, which is protected under plant breeding legislation, was produced by PDSI in Loxley (USA) and is marketed by Van der Peijl Tuinplanten who also submitted the plant for the novelty showcase.
