Gazania 'DWGZHY01' (SUNCARPET) is a true blooming machine that constantly produces large, yellow with orange flowers. The plant blooms profusely from May to October. SUNCARPET is highly drought-tolerant and meets all the requirements for water-efficient landscape design. As if that weren't enough, SUNCARPET is disease-resistant, heat-tolerant, and does not produce (viable) seeds. The plant was bred by De Wet Plant Breeders from Linbro Park (ZA) and plant breeders' rights protection has been applied for. @Roots from IJsselmuiden is marketing SUNCARPET. The management is handled by Plantipp BV from IJsselstein, which also submitted the plant for inspection.
