Clematis 'Zo18197' (VIVA LA VIDA) has a very long flowering period, from spring to late summer. The flowering is rich and exuberant with purple flowers with a purple-red stripe. The flower diameter is 10 to 12 cm and the plant grows to about 200 cm high. The plant is available from September for garden centers and traders in a 2 liter rose pot with 90 cm bamboo stick. VIVA LA VIDA has been bred by J. van Zoest BV from Boskoop who also markets the plant and has submitted it for the Novelty inspection. Protection under Plant breeder's legislation has been applied for.
