Symphoricarpos orbiculatus 'Kolmaberc' (MAGICAL WINTER BERRY) is a full, low shrub with fresh green leaves and in the winter months berries in a dazzling, Christmas red color. The plant is well hardy and thrives in any type of soil, but can also be used well in a pot for terrace or balcony. MAGICAL WINTER BERRY was bred by Kolster BV from Boskoop and protection under plant breeding legislation has been requested. B.D. Rijnbeek from Boskoop will market the plant. Kolster BV has sent it in for inspection.
