Symphoricarpos 'Little Berry': compact ornamental value with six months of berries
Symphoricarpos 'Little Berry' (‘GRSYCHLB’ PBR) EU 20250454 is a compact snowberry (50–70 cm tall) that offers ornamental interest throughout the year. After its autumn flowering – which attracts many pollinators – dark pink berries appear and remain on the plant for up to six months, from late autumn into spring. A colourful winter display is guaranteed.
Its upright, bushy habit with gracefully arching branches makes it suitable for both gardens and public landscaping. Thanks to its compact growth, Little Berry is also ideal for smaller gardens, terraces, and even for use in floral arrangements. The plant is extremely hardy (down to -35 °C), drought-tolerant, resistant to air pollution and sea wind, and requires little maintenance. It thrives in well-drained soil in both sun and shade.
Available from 2025 via Joh. Stolwijk en Zn. Boomkwekerijen B.V., with ready-to-sell plants and new production lined up for the coming seasons. Suitable for retail, landscaping, and garden centres..
