Hydrangea macrophylla ‘HORE9306’ (DOPPIO AZZURRO) blooms in July with blue, double, sturdy flowers that are pure in colour. The plant has green leaves and is compact growing and easily branching. The flowers have a good vase life as the plant is male and female sterile. Re-flowering is excellent, and the plant is one of a kind. DOPPIO AZZURRO was brought by Lendert de Vos from Reeuwijk who also submitted the plant for novelty testing and is trading it. Plant breeders' rights protection has been applied for.
