Hibiscus syriacus ‘Samilhong’ (LITTLE HIBISKISS PINK) is a very compact variety within the Hibiscus assortment that distinguishes itself through its exceptionally small growth habit. With a mature height of approximately 35 cm, this garden hibiscus offers new possibilities for applications where traditional Hibiscus syriacus varieties often become too large.
Due to its compact size, Little Hibiskiss Pink® is suitable for smaller gardens, containers, patios, and balconies. This makes the variety well suited to the growing demand for ornamental plants that fit limited outdoor spaces and are easy for consumers to apply.
The combination of the familiar appeal of Hibiscus syriacus with a very compact size makes this novelty distinctive within the existing assortment. Its small growth habit also creates new opportunities for presentation and sales in garden centres and the DIY segment.
Hibiscus syriacus ‘Samilhong’ (LITTLE HIBISKISS PINK) was developed by Plantipp and is marketed by Diderk Heinje Pflanzenhandelsgesellschaft mbH. The variety is protected by plant breeders’ rights and is available on the market now.
