Hibiscus syriacus 'RoosHSRL01' (ROSA-LYN®) is a new variety distinguished by its exceptionally abundant flowering and high ornamental value. Compared with the traditional Hibiscus syriacus varieties, it produces a remarkable number of flower buds early in the growing season, not only at the tips of the branches but across almost the entire plant. This results in a long-lasting and profuse floral display.
The double flowers have a full, elegant appearance and display subtle colour variations, giving the plant a vibrant look throughout the flowering season. Thanks to its continuous bud production, ROSA-LYN® flowers for longer than traditional garden hibiscus varieties. Its abundant blooms also attract bees and other pollinators, contributing to biodiversity in the garden.
ROSA-LYN® is fully hardy, low maintenance and responds well to pruning. Suitable for both smaller and larger gardens, it is an attractive addition to the assortment for garden centres, supermarkets, DIY stores and landscapers.
This mutation was developed by Kwekerij Roos and is protected by Plant Breeders' Rights. Hibiscus syriacus 'RoosHSRL01' (ROSA-LYN®) has been available through Kwekerij Roos since June 2026.
