Ficus johannis afghanistanica “Silver Lyre” is a hardy Fig with beautiful grey leaves. The plant loses its leaves in winter. In a warm summer, small sweet edible figs can grow on it. It can become a large shrub but is easy to keep small by pruning. Prefers a sunny spot in the garden, but will also do well in the shade.
