"Ewigheid Twin" is a new combination of Erica and Calluna. The yellow leaves and upright growth habit of Calluna vulgaris 'Zelda' blend beautifully with the broad upright growth and red flowers of Erica darleyensis 'Kramer's Rote'. The winter heather Erica darleyensis 'Kramer's Rote' blooms from January to April, providing winter color to the garden. Additionally, both species are evergreen and easy to care for. Flora Hemmje GmbH & Co KG from Westerstede, Germany, submitted this combination for the Visitors' Favorite award.
