Digitalis purpurea ‘Hanabee F1 White’

Digitalis purpurea 'Hanabee F1 White' is an innovative addition to the Digitalis range, distinguished by its unique flowering habit and versatility. Unlike traditional foxgloves that produce a single tall spike, 'Hanabee White' blooms with multiple flower stems simultaneously, each topped with pure white, tubular flowers. The result is a bouquet-like floral display that forms a compact, uniform plant.
Thanks to its natural basal branching, this Digitalis is ideally suited for pots, balconies, in gardens and efficient transport, which makes the plant very versatile. In addition, 'Hanabee F1 White' attracts bees and bumblebees, contributing actively to local biodiversity.
This seedling was developed by Takii Europe B.V. in De Kwakel and will be introduced to the market from the 2025/2026 season in cooperation with Florensis. Plant breeders rights are in application. Takii Europe B.V. has submitted this promising cultivar for novelty evaluation.
