Cosmos atrosanguineus 'Vg001' (CHERRY CHOCOLATE) has the largest flowers of all atrosanguineus varieties, with a diameter of approximately 7 cm. The flowers stand out for their unique cherry to wine-red color and have a chocolate scent. The blooming period is very long, from late May until the first frost, and the flowers are highly attractive to pollinators. Due to its larger flowers, this plant has added value compared to other Cosmos varieties. The plant thrives well in full sun and moderately fertile, well-drained soil and is ideal for borders or in a pot on the terrace. CHERRY CHOCOLATE will be available in small quantities this year and is offered through various chains, particularly in the higher-end segment. The plant was submitted by Florensis from Hendrik Ido Ambacht.
