With its stunning mix of colours in one plant, Cordyline australis 'TUS020' (MAGIC STAR) is a beautiful accent plant for pots and containers on the patio or in the Mediterranean garden. The green leaves with creamy white margins slowly transition into shades of pink towards the base and intense red at the stem. Cordyline MAGIC STAR retains these unique colours all year round. The growth habit is compact and upright. The plant grows up to 75 cm high and wide. Cordyline MAGIC STAR likes fertile, well-drained soil and a spot in full sun to semi shade. The plant is maintenance-free and hardy to -5 ºC. This Cordyline was won by Tuszyńscy Gospodarstwo Ogrodnicze Grzegorz Tuszyński from Otrebusy (PL) and is protected by plant breeders' rights. Van der Peijl Tuinplanten from Zundert submitted the plant for testing and also markets it.
