Cordyline australis 'Lime Passion'® is a highly decorative plant with a tropical appearance. Due to its extremely bright yellow/green variegated leaves and increased resistance to brown spots, this variety is an improved version of the well-known 'Torbay Dazzler.' The plant resembles a palm but is, in fact, a member of the lily family. This attractive selection stands out for its robust leaves and rapid growth. It looks particularly beautiful in a pot with brightly colored annual plants. It prefers a sunny location. While the Cordyline can tolerate some cold, it should be protected during frost. ‘Lime Passion’ will be available from week 22 – 2024 in C2/P17 or C7,5/P26. This new variety is an addition to the already broad range in the Tropical Cordyline | Ocelot Collection, giving the entire assortment an extra boost. Van der Peijl Tuinplanten from Zundert submitted the plant for evaluation and will also introduce it to the market.
