CO2 Tree: For consumers who want to do their own bit for a more sustainable world

The CO2-Tree, Paulownia Elongata ‘Futuro’, is fast-growing and therefore has the unique ability to absorb 5 times more CO2 than an ordinary tree.
The sustainable (non-invasive) Cloud-Tree is the tree of the future: it helps to reduce CO2 levels in the air and its particularly light, but sturdy, wood can be used for a variety of applications.
From the age of 4, this tree develops beautiful pink-purple flowers in spring. The tree grows to a height of 10-12 metres. The plant comes with an attractive label naming the tree's benefits and is available all year round in various pot sizes.
Among the plant's distinguishing features are:
* Very rapid growth
* Extra high CO2 uptake
* Non-invasive
* Regenerative
* Straight stems
* Bio-based solution
Suitable for private individuals as a solitary plant in a large garden; very interesting for companies/farmers/landowners who want to offset their CO2, whereby they can qualify for Carbon Credits.
Van Oploo Tuinplanten from Bavel has submitted the CO2 Tree for testing and is also marketing it.
