We Love Conifers, submitted by the We Love Conifers growers’ collective, is a new retail and communication concept designed to make conifers relevant to today’s consumers. The concept responds to current trends such as low-maintenance gardening, climate resilience, biodiversity and the growing demand for inspiring garden ideas.
The innovation lies in the way conifers are presented. Rather than offering individual plants, the concept introduces complete lifestyle themes and garden concepts inspired by styles such as Tuscany, Japandi and Ibiza. Through planting recipes, plant combinations, styling advice and comprehensive retail communication, consumers can more easily visualise and apply the ideas in their own gardens.
For garden centres, a complete support package has been developed, including POS materials, social media content and ready-to-use displays. This increases inspiration on the shop floor and encourages additional sales. At the same time, the concept highlights the key strengths of conifers, including their evergreen character, low-maintenance nature and suitability for climate-resilient gardens.
With its modular structure, We Love Conifers can easily be expanded to new themes, retail channels and international markets. As a result, it offers an innovative marketing and sales approach for an entire plant category.
