Hydrangea paniculata ‘Couharie’ (PETITE® CHERRY)

Hydrangea paniculata 'Couharie' (PETITE® CHERRY) is a compact growing hydrangea that branches easily and flowers profusely. Flower buds appear as early as mid-May and the plant is in full bloom by mid-June. The flowers turn from lime green to red in September. Its compact shape (up to 50 cm high and 40 cm wide) makes it very suitable for bedding. Naturally, this hydrangea also does well in a pot on the balcony or terrace. Both low (down to -25°C) and high temperatures are no problem for PETITE® CHERRY. The plant is bred by LilaVeronica S.A.R.L. (Jacques Couturieux) from Moyenmoutier (France). Plant breeders' rights protection has been applied for. PETITE® CHERRY is marketed by P.W. Captein & Zn. of Alphen aan den Rijn & Breederplants V.O.F. of Gouda, which submitted the plant for novelty testing.
