Abelia grandiflora ‘Minabtcm16’ (PSYCHEDELIK), submitted by Formidable Plant Breeders, is a compact Abelia distinguished by its striking tricoloured foliage in shades of green, cream and pink. When grown in full sun, the foliage develops intense red tones, while plants in shadier conditions retain a softer colour expression without the pink hues.
In addition to its ornamental foliage, PSYCHEDELIK produces abundant lightly scented white flowers throughout the summer. The variety also stands out for its notably vigorous growth, with vegetation that is approximately twice as strong as that of comparable cultivars. This combination of ornamental appeal and strong performance makes it attractive for both growers and gardeners.
